NZ Historical Association Conference 2025

The New Zealand Historical Association (NZHA) is hosting their biennial conference on 25-28 November 2025 in Auckland. He Rau Ringa e Oti ai: Many Hands Make History celebrates the many different people, organisations, modes, topics and approaches of history-telling in Aotearoa. The conference aims to foster connections across our history community.

Registrations are now open and you book through Eventbrite – early bird pricing is available until 1 August. They are having days aimed at post-graduate students, and primary and secondary teachers so do pass the information along to anyone you know who might be interested.

And there is still an opportunity to propose a paper for the conference. They are offering bursaries to postgraduate students, unwaged and unfunded speakers.
