Le Quesnoy Project with Christine Barbour
In our November 2023 presentation, Christine Barbour talks about the project she led to identify the soldiers who survived the Battle of Le Quesnoy on 4 November 1918. The information from this project is on the December 2023 Kiwi Collection update, as well as being contributed to the New Zealand Liberation Museum Te Arawhata at Le Quesnoy.

In July 2023 and to celebrate Puanga Matariki, we welcomed NZSG member Elena Fowler. Her presentation entitled Whakanuia te whanaungatanga: Using DNA test results to connect with whānau and whakapapa is a great introduction to DNA. Elena has produced a number of more detailed presentations that you can find on her YouTube channel.
