NZSG Software User Groups
We are setting up three software user groups for Legacy, Family Tree Maker and RootsMagic to be held at the Family Research Centre, 159 Queens Road. Panmure.
The cost is $5.00 per person for the meeting. For NZSG members this includes research time before and after the meeting. Non-NZSG members wishing to do research can pay $20.00 which includes the $5.00 meeting fee.
Bring your computers. We have limited power points and wi-fi is available. Gold coin donation for tea and coffee.
- Family Tree Maker - second Wednesday of the month, 7pm - 9pm, first meeting 12 March
- RootsMagic - second Friday of the month, 10.30am - 12.30pm, first meeting 14 March
- Legacy - fourth Saturday of the month, 10.30am - 12.30pm, first meeting 22 March
Help With Your Family History Research
The North Shore branch of NZSG has a new Family History help programme this year with our evening meetings. Open to everyone – NZSG members and non-members – for just a $5.00 door charge, with tea/coffee and biscuits!
Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month, starting at 7pm and going for 1-2 hours. Held at Senior Citizens Club rooms, 7 Mayfield Rd Glenfield. Free parking on site.
There will be a different topic each night - see programme below - but covering most things from getting started with your family history, what family tree software is available, search engines, etc.
