What are the benefits of NZSG membership?
There are many benefits to becoming an NZSG member.
Will I get instant access to NZSG resources when I join?
Instant access to resources is only available to those who pay via credit card or Account2Account on the website, but not if you pay via internet banking.
How do I easily find my way around the website?
Use the Quick Links on the Home page to quickly access the most used pages. Alternatively you can scroll down to the bottom of any page where you will find a mini sitemap in the footer.
To search the website you can do a Google search for "NZSG:xxx" where xxx is your search term, you will generally find the page you are looking for, e.g. look at the results for NZSG:DNA.
Where is the Family Research Centre located?
The Family Research Centre is located on Level 1, 159 Queens Road, Panmure Auckland.
How much does it cost to become a member of NZSG?
Currently the membership fees are:
- Ordinary membership - $112.00 per annum
- Joint membership - $150.00 per annum
- Student membership - $32.00 per annum
- Family History Organisation - $110.00 per annum
- Institutional - $185.00 per annum
- Commercial - on application
How do I renew my membership?
When you receive an invoice for membership renewal you can pay this online. You will need to be logged into the NZSG website first. Go to My NZSG - Transactions - Order History. Select the Order (invoice) number under ID then click the "Pay Order" button.
Is the Kiwi Collection included in NZSG membership?
No, subscription to the Kiwi Collection is in addition to NZSG membership. Subscription costs $20 for 1 month, or $50 for 12 months.
