In conjunction with Kapiti Genealogy, who have generously provided funding for the day, the Irish Interest Group Lower North Island invite you to: 'Somewhere in Ireland...' Finding Irish Ancestors through Maps and Records. We will have presentations from expert Irish researchers Maggie Gaffney, Graeme McVerry and Geraldene O'Reilly followed by hands-on workshops to help you locate the place and land records in Ireland, so bring your laptop.

Venue: The venue is the Coast Community Church Hall at 56 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu. Turn right over the railway line from old State Highway 1 by the Kapiti Road Lights, and then turn left to the northern end of the road running along east side of the railway to next to where the old SH1 road bridge crosses the railway. Parking: The Church has its own off-road carpark that will be more than large enough to accommodate everyone.
Catering: Tea, coffee and biscuits will be supplied. Please bring your own lunch.
