NZSG has recently established a Chinese/Asian Interest Group. The Convenor of this group is Garry Phillips. We do not have a regular meeting date as yet, but it is intended to have monthly online meetings.

Group Objectives
- To advance education in the study of family histories, genealogies and kindred subjects for Chinese, Korean, Japanese and other Asian ethnicities.
- To provide assistance to people wishing to compile family histories from sources in New Zealand and overseas.
- To foster awareness of family links and knowledge of heritage.
