Branch volunteers are on duty at the Palmerston North Public Library, 2nd floor, Wednesdays 10.30am – 1.30pm. Visitors are welcome at that time, as they are to our monthly meetings.
Research Service and Enquiries
The Branch can help with general research enquiries in the Palmerston North area.
The Branch holds a very extensive and unique collection of information pertaining to Palmerston North Settlers 1870-1900. It contains over 3000 names, with associated material such as related newspaper articles and images. Searches can be made on any surname.
Research results will be forwarded upon the receipt of a donation and stamped self-addressed envelope or emailed. Please include a contact telephone number and/or email address with your request. Direct all enquiries to the Palmerston North Branch Research Officer (contact details above).
